THE EVOLUTION !!!
Tropical rain forests , or jungles as they called , cover 6% of the land. They overfilled with life from the forest floor up to the treetops. Diversity of plants (more than 4/5 of all species) and animals (nearly a half of all species) is caused either by the ideal environmental conditions (constant heat and humidity) or probably by the struggle for survival. There is no other place in the world where is presented such great variety of ancient forms. Amphibians are considered to be originated as class in the zone of humid tropical rain forests particularly, there exist the largest amount of species of these creatures in the tropical areas. In this zone also have survived representatives of the ancient mammal group the most primitive marsupials opossums in America, possums in Australia, archaic flying lemurs and pen-tailed tree-shrews in Asia. Africa and Madagascar are inhabited with the most primitive group of the order Insectivorous From representatives of the suborder Prosimii (the order Primates) in Madagascar have survived lemurs and in the tropical rain forests of Africa and the South Asia - lorises. Highly specialized inhabitants of rain forests of the New World (armadillos, anteaters) and of the Old World (pangolins) are also refer to remainders of the relic mammal branches. Numerous and diverse inhabitants dwell in canopy or treetops of tropical forests. They live and die there, spending most of them time in the upper levels of the canopy and some of these never descending to the ground. Thanks to the great variety of species of the trees bearing fruits during the whole year, this food together with leaves and other parts of plants is always available and therefore animals virtually are specialized in foraging of only this food.
